Zachary Smith is a musician from Oklahoma City, OK. He is currently on staff as a music director for Generations Church in historic Guthrie, OK. He also works freelances as an independent musician and engineer. His primary instrument is guitar (acoustic or electric). His voice and music are somewhat dynamic and raw, yet somehow he manages to carry a balance with mood and sincerity. He is not a stranger to the studio environment as he records and produces his own material. He maintains 2 recording certificates and his song “Day Dream” has been featured in the independent film “Trapped in Darkness”. Zachary has experienced life outside of organized religion growing up and has a heart and passion for reaching the broken. He has also released a Christmas EP in 2012 titled “Merry Christmas” available for purchase on his website. He is currently in the process of completing 2 more EP’s to be released simultaneously in the fall of 2014 (rock & acoustic/electronica genres). He has been involved in church music since 2002 and has had the opportunity to play for several events such as Falls Creek Youth Camp, regional youth rallies, “See You at the Pole” events, and others. He also has appeared on Oklahoma local television station KSBI and won the “Battle of the Bands” at Freedom Fest 2003 in Edmond, OK. His desire for music is to continue to reach out, touch many lives, share authenticity, and help bring more people closer to God’s love.
